Upstream Communication 2002

A Human Resources company, Upstream sold an all-inclusive package of anonymous surveys for employees, combined with brief consulting services to assist managers of small companies to improve morale and efficiency at minimal expense.

The survey questionnaire was developed by a team of 5, who were either business-owners or PhD-level psychologists.

Our typical client profile was a team of 10 to 100 employees, whose owner or manager wanted to know how to establish greater happiness and productivity. Much more affordable than HR consulting firms, our system of anonymous surveys delivered results without the expense.

We used private communication to get critical feedback for management, and to help peers to understand how they were perceived by one another. We managed the entire survey process, including face-to-face interaction, and then delivered concise reports with simple recommendations for action.
